Who we are

ASTRIS Software Ltd, trading as ASTRIS Studio, is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17347337. Our registered office is Second Floor, 4 Market Hill, Maldon, CM9 4PZ.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and message. You may also choose to provide your business or organisation and an existing website URL.

Our hosting and form infrastructure may process limited technical and security information, such as an IP address and request details, to deliver the site, prevent misuse and keep the service secure.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to read and respond to your message, discuss the work you have in mind, and take steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract. Where appropriate, we also rely on our legitimate interests in running the studio, keeping our service secure and maintaining relevant business records.

Who helps us provide the service

We use Vercel to host and deliver the website and Resend to deliver enquiry emails. These providers process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry, manage any resulting working relationship, and meet relevant legal or accounting needs. We then delete it or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal information;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• delete or restrict how we use your information;
• provide information in a portable format; or
• stop using information where you object to our legitimate interests.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No online service can promise absolute security, so please do not include sensitive information that we do not need in an enquiry.
